A Top Quality Cretodus semiplicatus, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Grayson Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design that includes a large / heavy root with high root face, a narrow crown width, and broad side cusps. This is a juvenile lateral tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.

This catalog contains excellent teeth from an extinct Mackerel shark - Cretodus semiplicatus. These teeth were collected from the Eagle Ford Formation, Grayson Co. All teeth are complete and well preserved.

Eagle Ford Group  - The Eagle Ford Group is a sedimentary rock formation deposited during the Cenomanian and Turonian ages (~93 MYA)  of the Late Cretaceous that covers much central Texas. Eagle Ford Group contains the following fossil bearing units.
