These are large sharks (up to 18 feet in length) that typically prey on fish, marine mammals and marine reptiles. One of the few sharks that can prey on marine turtles. The Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina offers incredible examples of Tiger shark teeth from the Pliocene.
