Overview

A very rare, TOP QUALITY Hainosaurus tooth, a Tylosaur mosasaur, from the Cretaceous of Khouribga, Morocco. This mosasaur is a recent discovery and genus naming. The teeth appear to be quite rare. Note - the well defined posterior hook at the top of the crown - a Hainosaurus characteristic. This specimen has a wear facet on the anterior edge of the crown and it has been cracked. This is the most difficult of the Mosasaur species to find. An excellent collector's Mosasaur tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

M1060           SIZE: 1-3/4"   (1" Wide)

Note - Adding 35 new Mosasaur teeth in November 2023.   -->   Link to Mosasaur teeth.

These are huge examples of extinct Mosasaurus beaugei, a large Cretaceous, marine reptile. Note - this tooth exhibits a "ribbed design" along the length of the crown. This is the more difficult to find of the two Mosasaur species. Sharks had to fear these creatures! Found in the phosphate mine region, Khouribga, Morocco. A big Mosasaur tooth from the hero of Jurassic World!
