Micropristis solomonis

Unusual teeth from a rare and very unique Cretaceous shark, Micropristis solomonis - a Sclerorhynchidae shark (a Cretaceous Saw shark family). Both rostal and oral teeth are included. These are complete species showing exceptional preservation. Specimens of this quality are very difficult to locate. Cretaceous (Lower Santonian - approx. 75 million years ago), Tykbutak, Aktiubinsk region, W. Kazakhstan.
