Galeocerdo cuvier, the extant Tiger shark, lives today in all tropical waters and is known to attack man. These are large sharks (up to 18 feet in length) that typically prey on fish, marine mammals and marine reptiles. One of the few sharks that can prey on marine turtles. These Baja Galeocerdo cuvier teeth are Pliocene age (2.2 million years ago). These colorful teeth are highly sought after by collectors.
