Cow Shark Symphyseals

Cow Shark Symphyseals

Symphyseal teeth for sale. One of the rarest shark teeth to find - the lower jaw symphyseal tooth. I only have a few in stock at any time and find it very difficult to locate the symphyseal teeth. One of the Holy Grail collector's teeth. Note - Six-Gill Cow sharks demonstrate sexual dimorphism meaning the female and male teeth are different. Hexanchus symphyseals teeth vividly demonstrate this difference. Male Hexanchus teeth will have a central cusp which points straight up (see catalog photo). Female Hexanchus teeth will have no central cusp, the cusps bend over in opposite directions at the center of the tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
