An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality BLACK Angustidens - upper jaw lateral tooth from So. Carolina. High quality enamel. Bourlette is an excellent black color and complete. Very good serrations, tip (with a very small nick), and cusps. The root is excellent - extra wide and complete. Great BLACK color and preservation. No repair or restoration. An Oligocene age tooth from the Chandler Bridge Formation. Authenticity guaranteed. A BIG Angustidens tooth.

This catalog contains exceptional teeth from Otudus angustidens, the direct ancestor to the Extinct Giant White shark (O. megalodon). O. angustidens teeth are noted for their triangular crowns and small side cusps that are fully serrated. The serrations are very sharp and very well pronounced. These teeth are from the Oligocene (28 million years ago).
