A Top Quality, rare Pararaucaria pine cone specimen from Argentina. These Jurassic pine cones are exquisite and known for their high quality and great preservation. This cone shows good detail and has a small chip on the rear. I no longer receive any more specimens as exports have stopped for more than 10 years. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. These are the last of my Pararaucaria pine cones.

Details

The Argentine pine cones are well know for their high quality and exceptional preservation. Pararaucaria is the smaller relative to the Araucaria. Pararaucaria cone size varies from small to medium. Some cones ncludes a good stem - rare. These cones are cleaned to show the full detail of the pine cone exterior. Excellent detail has been preserved. Specimens typically exhibit round shape (inflated), but most are slightly compressed. They make incredible pine cone specimens!
