A fantastic Brittle Star display item. Eight TOP QUALITY Ophiura sp. Brittle Star specimens, a Mucronaspis trilobite, 4 carpoids, and 2 edrioasteriods from El Caid Romi, Morocco. These rare Brittle Stars and the largest measures 5-3/4" in length. The Mucronaspis zagoraensis trilobite is from the Dalamnitidae family. Incredible detail. The carpoids and edrioasteriods are extinct echinoderms related to starfish. Excellent preservation and preparation. Kataoua Formation. Ordovician age (460mya). Matrix size is 18" x 13".
