A Top Quality Machaeroprosopus (phytosaur) vertebra. Machaeroprosopus is an extinct genus of mystriosuchin leptosuchomorph phytosaur from the Late Triassic of the southwestern United States. The genus was previously refered to as Pseudopalatus. The vertebra bone quality is excellent with great color and patina. Minor crack fill. No restoration. A complete vertebra legally collected on private land in the Bull Canyon Formation, Quay Co., New Mexico. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic collector's quality phytosaur vertebra. This specimen comes complete with a custom steel diplay stand as shown.  Note - this specimen weighs 1.5 pounds and an international shipping supplement is required.
