Overview

An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis rooted premaxillary (front) tooth from the Morrison Fm. A February Fossil of the Month.  This Allosaurus tooth measures 3-1/4". The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Excellent overall condition and serrations. Extra wide and fully inflated. There is a wear facet on the tip (typical for Allosaurus PM teeth). Normal minor crack fill. No repair or restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - a  Riker display frame is included. A rare collector's quality rooted premaxillary tooth.
