A LARGE, natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell material has natural iridescence. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This ammonite is from the upper Cretaceous, Pierre Shale Fm. of So. Dakota. Authenticity guaranteed. A wonderful display piece.
