Troodon formosus (Hell Creek Fm)
A LARGE, RARE Troodon formosus tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of western North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with a good brown color. Excellent large posterior and weak anterior serrations. Please note that Hell Creek Fm. Troodon teeth typically have weak or no anterior serrations. No repair or restoration.
